President’s Message

Welcome to the official website of Valley Forge Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. We are a chapter of 100 plus members who are committed to our Founders vision of Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service. Since it’s chartering in 1991, VFAC has been a visible force in Montgomery and Chester County, implementing a variety of service projects that focus on the Sorority’s five-point programmatic thrust in the areas of Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement. As we approach our silver anniversary, Valley Forge Alumnae Chapter will continue our mission to provide leadership and scholarships to youths in our community, continue support projects that transforms lives of families, participate in charitable events, and continue our work as social activists.

In 1993, we erected “Patriots of African Descent” in Valley Forge National Historical Park to recognize and celebrate the contributions made by Black patriots in the American Revolutionary War. This monument has the distinction of being the first monument in a national historical park honoring the significant service of African Americans. We invite you to visit Valley Forge National Historical Park to see the splendor of this glorious monument.

We welcome your participation in our numerous public service programs as we strive to increase our community involvement and partnerships. If you are a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and are looking for a home chapter, we encourage you to visit with us at a chapter meeting or an event.

Sincerely,

J. Robin Jones, President
