This weekend, Valley Forge Alumnae Chapter kicked

This weekend, Valley Forge Alumnae Chapter kicked off our program year with a fun-filled two-day retreat and our first chapter meeting! We connected, learned, and enjoyed some amazing fellowship. Along with our Risk Management and Social Action workshops, one of the highlights was the True Colors activity, helping us better understand each other’s unique personalities and perspectives for stronger teamwork. We also had a blast with games like “Speed Delta” and “Delta Feud,” and cheered on our EAGLES 🦅💚 in our PJs and Pearls. It was a weekend of real, heartfelt conversations that fostered growth and sisterhood. This retreat was truly one for the books! A special thank you to our Membership Services for all of their hard work. 🔺♥️

Happy Juneteenth! On June 19, 1993, the Valley For

Happy Juneteenth! On June 19, 1993, the Valley Forge Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, unveiled the Patriots of African Descent Monument at Valley Forge National Historical Park. This monument, the first of its kind in a National Historical Park, commemorates the vital contributions of Black soldiers in the American Revolutionary War. Standing 9 feet tall, the granite structure is located on Route 23 and serves as a lasting tribute to those who served during the Valley Forge encampment of 1777-1778. This past weekend, we celebrated our 31st annual Wreath Laying Ceremony, focusing on honoring the heroes of African descent from our past, present, and future. #happyjuneteenth #juneteenth
