Our hearts are overflowing after an incredible wee

Our hearts are overflowing after an incredible weekend of service with our Love Exchange!

It all started Friday night, when dedicated volunteers and members came together to prepare for the big day. From setting up tables to sorting donations, everyone worked tirelessly to ensure everything was ready for Saturday.

Yesterday, we hosted our Love Exchange event, where the community was invited to shop for free, choosing from new and gently used clothing, household items, and more. In addition to providing these essentials, we were proud to give out turkey baskets to families in need, distribute dental care packages for the youth, and share vaccination education and resources with attendees.

This event would not have been possible without the overwhelming generosity of local businesses, community organizations, and individuals who donated goods, food items, and their time. Special thanks to the men of Alpha Phi Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, and Omega Psi Phi fraternities, as well as the women of The Links, Incorporated, for their support.

Finally, a heartfelt shoutout to our Second Vice President, Soror Sheri McDonald, and the Love Exchange Committee for their hard work and dedication. To our Valley Forge Alumnae Chapter members, thank you for everything—from setting up to sorting donations to making the day a success.

The Pottstown community showed up in a big way, and we are truly grateful for the love and support. The Love Exchange is one of our signature service projects, held annually the Saturday before Thanksgiving, and it brings us so much joy to pour back into the community. Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s event unforgettable!

We had an AMAZING Delta GEMS and Delta Academy ses

We had an AMAZING Delta GEMS and Delta Academy session on November 16th, themed “Soft Girl Era,” focusing on self-care, physical and mental health! 🌟 The day began with a heartfelt discussion on the importance of self-care for Black women. Participants received yoga mats and enjoyed soothing stretching and breathing techniques. 🧘‍♀️ We also explored healthy eating habits, learning to be mindful of ingredients and serving sizes. The session concluded with guided meditation and journal reflections.

Delta Academy participants earned a new pin for their Sashes, while Delta GEMS participants received charms for their bracelets! ✨
